Memorial Day is a day to honor those Americans who gave their lives for their Country.   In doing so, please, help us   support them by attending our show!                              

 We have several members whose families are military families, this year’s contributions will benefit the Yellow Ribbon Support Center, in honor of Staff Sgt. Matt Maupin, who was captured in Iraq on April 9, 2004 and found, deceased, on March 20, 2008. (http://www.yellowribbonsupportcenter.com)

The Appalachian
Appaloosa Association is hosting the Dazzling Spots Yellow Ribbon All Breed Open Horse Show Memorial Day Weekend, May 24 & 25 at Roberts Arena in Wilmington, OH.

 Public is invited to come watch all breeds of horses, ponies and mules and their owners compete in halter, riding and timed events, 4-H, Small Fry, Open and Guaranteed Money classes will be held each day. Since the show is being held on Memorial Day Weekend, any veterans and family members of a soldier are invited to come and ride their horse in the Opening Ceremony of the show each day.

 If you would like to honor your favorite veteran or soldier during this Memorial Day show, you may sponsor one of the 65 competition classes. You can also award ribbons to the winners as your salute to your favorite soldier is read aloud by the show announcer.                

 As a special treat,  there will be special performances by a Longhorn Steer Show approximately at Noon saturday and Sunday
